Las Vegas - My Dad was Army but don't think he would be mad at me for buying Temple tonight. As long as they cover. No one thinks of the Owls from Philadelphia as a football power, but with second year coach K.C. Keeler, they're putting some numbers on the board. The record is just 1-2, but Temple put 48 points on the board last against week a pretty solid Toledo team. QB Ajani Sheppard was just 12 of 22 but connected for three TDs, while the Owls rumbled for 261 yards on the ground. They did get ripped through the air by the Rockets, allowing 429 yards. But as everyone knows, Army DOES NOT pass the ball. In the opener against Bryant, the Black Knights passed the ball SEVEN times, then in their second game against USF, they passed it 10 times. And just reminding you that Temple went to West Point last year and came up on the short end of a 14-13 score against the Cadets but had no trouble covering as a +7 point underdog. We looked at the box score of that game and the Army had a grand total of ONE PASS! ONE!!! Gimme the Owls, WHO, the Owls, plus 3.5 points for another deposit into the Bank of Benj.

They were 2-3 ATS at home and 2-1 as a favorite. Army posted a 7-6 straight up record last season, with a 7-5 mark against the spread. They were 6-2 ATS on the road and 4-2 as an underdog.
