Introducing Braden Atkinson & JaMarcus Shephard!

Las Vegas - Looking at a Pac 12 matchup tonight between Oregon State and Fresno State. Oregon State (3-0) is sitting on top of the revamped Pac 12 Conference with Boise State (3-0). The Beavers first year, first time head coach is JaMarcus Shephard. He has been coaching in various spots since 2005 and the last few years, Shephard has been the associate head coach at Washington and Alabama under Kalen DeBoer. Oregon State lost its first two games to Texas Tech and Houston, but has turned up the heat with a 5-0 run. And they're not just winning, they're SMOKING the opposition. The Beavers beat Montana 52-17, UTEP 33-7, Colorado State 56-26, San Diego State 66-14 and Washington State 48-30. In those five starts, QB Braden Atkinson has been a rock star, completing almost 75% of his passes, for 1,815 yards with TWENTY ONE TDs and only one INT. Usually, we're not into comparative scores, but we told you that the Beavers demolished San Diego State 66-14. Well, the last time out, Fresno LOST to the Aztecs, 26-23. After two years under Trent Bray and an ugly 7-17 record, Shephard looks like a magician in Corvallis. Gimme the Beavers for the money.
