Gimme Lawrence of Jacksonville!
Las Vegas - Would love to take a double digit underdog in tonight's NFL game. Why? Double digit dogs have covered five of seven so far this season and at 71%, that would normally be the play. However, after looking at Baltimore's QB situation, there's NO way. Lamar Jackson is gone indefinitely. QB #2 Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley is out for the rest of the season with turf toe injury. That leaves QB #3 Joe Fagnano who is also dealing with an injury to his ankle. A little Fagnano for you. He played his college ball at UConn and had some decent numbers in his last season (285/413 for 3,448 yards with 28 TDs and just 1 INT). His work last week was not the stuff legends are made of, completing just 10 of 21 for 91 yards with zero TDs and one INT. The rest of the QB room consists of Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis who was signed off of the Packers practice squad. And you know how Allen Iverson feels about practice. NONE of 'em have EVER thrown a TD pass. Always wary of a wounded bear, or NFL team, so it's off to Prop City. Looking at Jax QB Trevor Lawrence and Over 1.5 passing TDs. Lawrence LOVES playing at home in Jacksonville and has thrown TEN TDs in just three games. And if you're thinking that the Ravens defense is an elite unit, it AIN'T. They have given up 35 and 36 points the last two games. Gimme Lawrence of Jacksonville Over for the money.
