Gimme a 'Hotty Toddy' PLUS 13.5 points!

Las Vegas - My play was gonna be the convicts, Miami-Florida, plus 5.5 points against the Catholics, Notre Dame. Then, as everyone knows by now, Miami's superstar WR and Heisman candidate, Malachi Toney, caught an ankle injury in practice and is gone for at least six weeks. So we have to switch gears.

And we're switching to a three team 10-point teaser starting in New York, upstate New York, and looking at the Syracuse/Clemson matchup. The Orange stumbled out of the gate, losing four of the first six, but now that QB Steve Angeli is healthy, they're on a roll with two straight wins. They beat North Carolina and SMU with Angeli throwing for 456 yards with three TDs and NO INTs. Color me Orange and bump the 'Cuse up from +2.5 to +12.5 points against Dabo.

Then we move to the battle for the famous Paul Bunyan Trophy between Michigan State and Michigan. Totally understand that the Spartans head to Ann Arbor on an 0-6 run, but this IS their Super Bowl and a game that first year head coach at State, Pat Fitzgerald, wants bad. REALLY BAD! The Wolverines are 5-3 but have not impressed anyone. Their last two wins were against Penn State by just three points, 21-18, and Rutgers by just seven points, 28-21. Gimme Sparty and bump 'em up from +14.5 to +24.5 points against the Wolves.

Close it out down in Oxford for a delicious battle between Mississippi and Georgia. Yes the Bulldogs are ranked higher at #2 and have a better record at 7-1, but check this out. Ole Miss is on a 15-0 run at the Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium and has played the Dawgs really tight the last two years. In 2024, they rolled over Georgia at home 28-10 and last season they split. They lost during the regular season in Athens, 43-35, then came back to beat the Dawgs in the Sugar Bowl, 39-34. Expecting another tight fit so gimme a 'Hotty Toddy' and plump Ole Miss up from +3.5 to +13.5 points against Georgia.
