College Football Week 15 Betting Preview

Ranked teams meet up in the ACC this week when the No. 17 North Carolina Tar Heels visit the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Hurricanes are a slim 3-point favorite. Miami dominated the Duke Blue Devils in a 48-0 win last week as a 14.5-point favorite. That was the Hurricanes’ fifth straight win, during which they are 3-2 ATS. At home, Miami has won four in a row straight up at 3-1 ATS.

Last week, North Carolina crushed the Western Carolina Catamounts 49-9 but failed to cover as 49.5-point favorites. That was the Tar Heels’ third straight loss ATS, and fourth in their last five games. They have lost four in a row as the underdog with a 1-3 record ATS.

Last season North Carolina upset Miami 28-25 as a 5-point underdog. The Tar Heels are 4-1 ATS in their last five vs the Hurricanes, but they’re 1-4 ATS in their last five games in Miami. In the last eight matchups between the Tar Heels and the Hurricanes, the home team is 7-1 ATS.

Badgers have won 7 of last 8 vs Hawkeyes

Also in the Big Ten this weekend, the Iowa Hawkeyes host the Wisconsin Badgers as a 1-point favorite.

Iowa is 5-2 SU and 4-2-1 ATS after defeating the Illinois Fighting Illini 35-21 as a 13.5-point favorite last week. The Hawkeyes have won five straight at 4-1 ATS, and at home they’re 5-1 SU and 2-3-1 ATS in their last six.

Wisconsin dropped to 2-2 SU and ATS after getting upset by the Indiana Hoosiers 14-6 as a 13.5-point favorite last week. As an underdog, Wisconsin is 2-7 SU and 5-4 ATS in its last nine.

Last season, Wisconsin edged Iowa 24-22 as a 7.5-point favorite. In their last eight games against the Hawkeyes, the Badgers are 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS.

LSU 4-1 ATS in last 5 as road underdog

In the SEC this weekend, the Florida Gators are 11.5-point favorites against the LSU Tigers.

Florida got past the Tennessee Volunteers 31-19 last week but failed to cover the 18-point spread, dropping the Gators to 4-4-1 ATS on the season. At home, the Gators have won 11 straight with a 7-2-2 ATS record.

LSU was pummeled by the Alabama Crimson Tide 55-17 as a 28.5-point underdog last week. As an underdog, the Tigers are 1-5 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six, but as a road underdog they’re 4-1 ATS in their last five.

Last season, LSU defeated Florida 42-28 as a 14-point favorite. In their last four vs the Tigers, the Gators are 3-0-1 ATS.
