NBA Finals Game 4 Betting Odds Preview
The NBA Finals is a series again heading into Game 4 on Wednesday, as the Milwaukee Bucks try to tie the series when they host the Phoenix Suns.
After the Suns won the first two games of the series to go up 2-0, it looked like the series was going to be a short one. That changed in Game 3 on Sunday night as the Bucks struck back, winning 120-100 as 4.5-point home favorites at Bovada Sportsbook.
Giannis Antetokounmpo carried Milwaukee to victory in Game 3 with a game-high 41 points to go along with 13 rebounds and six assists. Jrue Holiday added 21 points, five rebounds and nine assists.
Bucks 4-point home favorites for Game 4
Chris Paul led the Suns with 19 points and nine assists. It was a disappointing game for Devin Booker, who was limited to 10 points on a lousy 3-for-14 shooting performance. After shooting 42 percent from three-point range in the first two games in the series, the Suns lost their touch from beyond the arc in Game 3, going 9-for-31 for 29 percent.
With Game 4 also taking place in Milwaukee, the Bucks are 4-point home favorites at Bovada. During their playoff run, the Bucks are 8-1 straight up and 6-3 against the spread at home. That includes going 5-1 ATS in their last six home playoff games.
When favored by 4 points or less this season, Milwaukee is 10-8 SU and 7-11 ATS.
Following the Game 3 loss in Milwaukee, the Suns are now 6-3 SU and ATS on the road in the playoffs. As an underdog in the postseason, Phoenix is 4-3 SU and ATS in seven games. If you add in the regular season, the Suns are 12-7 SU and ATS in their last 19 games as an underdog.
Suns have covered 8 of last 10 vs Bucks
The Game 3 loss snapped the Suns’ five-game winning streak against the Bucks. Even with the Game 3 setback, the Suns are still 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against Milwaukee.
For totals bettors, Game 3 was a wash, coming up as a PUSH on the posted total of 220. The previous six matchups between the Suns and Bucks had all gone OVER the posted total.
Checking in on the series odds at Bovada, the Suns remain the favorites at -250. The Bucks are now +210 series underdogs.
