Cavaliers Underdogs for NBA Finals Game 3
The Cleveland Cavaliers are 4-1 straight up and against the spread in their last five postseason games as the betting underdog. The Cavaliers will be back in that role on Tuesday night hosting the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Cleveland is a 1.5-point home underdog on Tuesday according to online sportsbook Bovada. Led by a sensational 39 point, 16 rebound and 11 assist effort from LeBron James, the Cavaliers upset the Golden State Warriors 95-93 in Game 2, handing the Warriors just their fourth home loss of the entire season.
Stephen Curry had only 19 points in that loss, and will be counted on to find his shot in time for Tuesday's Game 3. Cleveland will host the Warriors in Game 4 on Thursday night as well.
Through the first three games of the Stanley Cup final, neither team has held a two-goal lead at any point. Tampa Bay and Chicago have fought for every inch, and so far it has been the Lightning who have earned the upper hand with a 2-1 series lead coming off an upset win in Chicago on Monday night.
Chicago hosts Tampa Bay on Wednesday night for Game 4 looking to avoid falling into a 3-1 series hole. The Lightning are 4-0 over their last four postseason road games.
Team Germany made the first big statement of the Women's World Cup on Sunday, blowing out the Ivory Coast 10-0 as a 4.5-goal favorite. On Thursday, the Germans are 2-goal favorites (+110) over Norway at +2 (-140) at Bovada.
Norway opened its World Cup with a 4-0 win over Thailand but is a +1000 underdog to win this game outright, with Germany at -500 and the draw paying +500.
The New York Mets are trying to hold on to a slim lead over the Washington Nationals in the NL East while the San Francisco Giants are trying to catch the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West.
