CFB Bowl Games Betting Odds Preview

College football bowl season officially kicks off Friday night with the Bahamas Bowl featuring the Miami RedHawks and the UAB Blazers.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Blazers are 11-point favorites in the Bahamas Bowl. UAB was 6-6 straight up and 4-8 against the spread this season. That includes going 1-6 ATS in its last seven games. The Blazers are 2-3 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five bowl games.

Miami was 6-6 SU and 5-7 ATS this season. The RedHawks were 2-5 ATS in their last seven games, and 4-3 ATS in their last seven as an underdog. They have won four straight bowl games ATS, and as a bowl game underdog they’re 1-4 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five.

Cure Bowl: UTSA, Troy both have 10 straight victories

Also on the Friday night schedule is the Cure Bowl between the UTSA Roadrunners and the Troy Trojans. At Bovada, Troy is a 1.5-point favorite.

Troy was 11-2 SU and 10-3 ATS this season. The Trojans finished the regular season with 10 straight wins and an 8-2 ATS record in those games. When favored, they have won 11 straight at 6-5 ATS. They have also won their last four bowl games with a 3-1 ATS record.

UTSA was also 11-2 SU this season with a 7-6 ATS record. The Roadrunners have won 10 straight with a 5-5 ATS record. As a bowl game underdog, they’ve lost three straight, but they’re 7-2 ATS in their last nine bowl games as an underdog.

Las Vegas Bowl: Beavers double-digit chalk vs Gators

On Saturday, this year’s Las Vegas Bowl features the Oregon State Beavers vs the Florida Gators as 10-point favorites.

Oregon State was 9-3 SU and 10-2 ATS this season. The Beavers finished the regular season with six straight wins ATS, and when favored they’ve won eight straight with a 7-1 ATS record.

Florida was 6-6 SU and 7-5 ATS this season. On the road, the Gators are 1-7 SU and 3-5 ATS in their last eight games. As a bowl game underdog, they are 3-6 SU and ATS in their last nine.

Fenway Bowl: Cardinals slim favorites over Bearcats

Also on Saturday, the Fenway Bowl features the Cincinnati Bearcats vs the Louisville Cardinals as 1-point underdogs.

Cincinnati was 9-3 SU and 3-8-1 ATS this season. The Bearcats were 1-6 ATS in their last seven games and as an underdog they’ve lost five in a row SU and four straight ATS.

Louisville was 7-5 SU and ATS this season. When favored, the Cardinals have won three straight both SU and ATS. In their last seven bowl games as a favorite, they’re 6-1 SU and 4-3 ATS.

In the last 17 matchups between the Cardinals and Bearcats, Louisville is 11-6 SU and 10-7 ATS.
