College Basketball Conference Tournaments Wrap Up

It's the final week of college basketball conference tournament betting action, and the marquee matchups begin on Monday night as Gonzaga takes on Saint Mary's in the WCC title game. And along with all the big conference tournaments, there's also a full slate of NBA games on tap plus action on the ice for the early part of the week ahead.

Holding down the No. 1 ranking in college basketball, Gonzaga will be looking to pay off against Saint Mary's in the West Coast Conference championship game at Orleans Arena on Monday night. The Bulldogs are 2-0 SU against the Gaels so far this season, but they went just 1-1 ATS in those games. Saint Mary's has managed to pick up an ATS win in three of their past five games against Gonzaga over the past two seasons.

While the WCC Tournament wraps up early this week, the bigger conferences get their action underway. The Big East and Mountain West tournaments begin on Tuesday this week, with the Big 12, C-USA, Pac-12, and SEC events starting up on Wednesday, and each of the ACC, Big Ten, and Atlantic 10 tournaments tipping off on Thursday.

Over in the NBA there's also a marquee contest on the basketball betting board for Monday night as the San Antonio Spurs play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Spurs have been a poor option for NBA bettors in games against Kevin Durant and company lately, going 3-6-1 ATS over their past 10 meetings, and 0-5-1 ATS over their past six matchups. The UNDER paid out in each of the last two Spurs/Thunder games.

On Tuesday night LeBron James and the Miami Heat get a visit from the Atlanta Hawks, while the Spurs are right back in action on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wednesday's slate includes Miami at Philadelphia, the Lakers at Atlanta, New York at Denver, and Memphis at the Clippers, with the doubleheader action on Thursday offering up Dallas at San Antonio and then New York at Portland.

In NHL betting this week Sidney Crosby's Pittsburgh Penguins will host the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night in a key Eastern Conference clash. The Bruins have been tagged with a loss at the sportsbooks in four of their past five games against the Penguins dating back to 2011, with the OVER paying out in their last two matchups.

Boston returns to the ice on Thursday night at home against the Florida Panthers, with the Penguins visiting the Toronto Maple Leafs that same night. Pittsburgh and Toronto met this past Saturday, with the Pens winning 5-4 as a road favorite in the shootout.
