College Football Betting: Week 14
The final week of college football's regular-season schedule features a handful of conference championship games plus the latest matchup in the Bedlam Series. Here's how the NCAAF betting board looks heading into Week 14 of the season . . .
No. 12 Georgia vs. No. 1 LSU
Firmly in first place in the AP Top 25 Poll after a 12-0 campaign, the Tigers will be looking to get past the Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game at the Georgia Dome on Saturday afternoon. With a berth in the BCS Championship Game coming their way, LSU is pegged as the 12.5-point favorite at 5Dimes for Saturday's matchup.
No. 13 Oklahoma at No. 3 Oklahoma State
Not an official championship game, but the winner of Saturday night's game between rivals Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will nevertheless decide the champion of the Big 12 conference this season. The Sooners won this matchup by a 47-41 score last season, but they're the 3.5-point underdogs at 5Dimes on the betting board this week.
No. 5 Virginia Tech vs. No. 21 Clemson
The 11-1 Hokies will try to add the ACC title to their resume for this season as they face 9-3 Clemson in the conference championship game at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday night. The Tigers beat Virginia Tech 23-3 on the road back in October, but at 5Dimes the Hokies are set as 7.5-point favorites for the game on the weekend.
No. 24 Southern Miss at No. 7 Houston
The Cougars went 12-0 during the regular season, but they'll still need to perform well in the Conference USA Championship Game against Southern Miss on Saturday to avoid hurting their position in the BCS rankings heading into bowl season. At 5Dimes Houston has been pegged as a 14-point favorite at home against the Golden Eagles.
UCLA at No. 8 Oregon
With Southern Cal not eligible for the Pac-12 Championship Game due to sanctions on the school the Bruins instead get to represent the South Division against North Division champ Oregon on Friday. At just 6-6 overall on the season UCLA looks to be in tough against the Ducks this week, with Oregon favored by 31 points at 5Dimes.
New Mexico at No. 9 Boise State (-49)
No. 15 Wisconsin (-10) vs. No. 11 Michigan State
Iowa State at No. 16 Kansas State (-11.5)
UNLV at No. 18 TCU (-40.5)
Texas at No. 19 Baylor
No. 22 West Virginia at South Florida (pick'em)
