College Football Week 1 Weekend Odds

The No. 2 ranked Michigan Wolverines will get their season started on Saturday with what looks like an easy matchup against the East Carolina Pirates.

At the Bovada Sportsbook the Wolverines are huge 36-point favorites. Michigan, though, will play without head coach Jim Harbaugh, who is suspended for the first three games of the season.

Michigan went 13-1 straight up and 8-5-1 ATS last season. Their lone loss came in the Fiesta Bowl against the TCU Horned Frogs, by a score of 51-45 as 8-point favorites. At home Michigan has won 15 straight games with a 10-4-1 ATS record.

East Carolina went 8-5 SU and ATS last season. As an underdog they’ve won three straight games ATS and they’re 9-2 ATS in their last 11 outings.

LSU set as small favorite against Florida State

The lone ranked matchup in college football this weekend takes place on Sunday and pits the No. 5 LSU Tigers against the No. 8 Florida State Seminoles. The Tigers are listed as 2.5-point favorites at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

LSU went 10-4 SU and 8-6 ATS last season. They were a money-making OVER play late last season with four straight OVER results to end the year and a 7-1 OVER record in their last eight games. When favored last season the Tigers were 6-2 SU and 4-4 ATS.

Florida State went 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS last season, and they finished last season with six straight wins and a 4-2 ATS record. As an underdog the Seminoles are 5-1 ATS in their last six games.

Clemson strong Monday favorite against Duke

And in a rare Monday matchup the No. 9 Clemson Tigers visit the Duke Blue Devils as 13.5-point road favorites.

Clemson went 11-3 SU and 7-7 ATS last season. On the road the Tigers are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six games and they were favored in all six of those outings. As double-digit road favorites the Tigers are 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games.

Duke went 9-4 SU and ATS last season. They won four straight ATS to end the season and five of their last six games ATS. At home the Blue Devils are 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six outings, but as a home underdog they’re 1-5 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six.
