College Football Week 10 Betting Preview
A pair of Top 25 matchups top the Week 10 schedule in college football, starting with an SEC clash between the No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 6 Florida Gators.
At Bovada Sportsbook, the Bulldogs are a 6.5-point favorite in this neutral-site matchup that will be played at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville. The Bulldogs are coming off a bye week and last time out they blanked the Kentucky Wildcats 21-0 as a 24-point favorite. The loss against the spread dropped them to 3-4 ATS on the season. When favored, the Bulldogs are 11-2 SU and 7-6 ATS in their last 13 games.
The Gators improved to 7-1 SU and 4-2-2 ATS on the season last week, getting past the South Carolina Gamecocks 38-27 as a 4-point favorite. As an underdog, the Gators have been a strong bet lately at 4-2 SU and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six.
Last season, Georgia defeated Florida 36-17 as a 7-point favorite. In the last eight matchups between the Gators and Bulldogs, Georgia is 5-3 SU and 4-3-1 ATS.
Memphis 9-2 ATS in last 11 home games
The other ranked matchup on Saturday pits the No. 15 Southern Methodist Mustangs against the No. 24 Memphis Tigers as a 6-point road underdog.
The Mustangs are undefeated this season at 8-0 SU and 6-2 ATS. They’re 1-2 ATS in their last three and last week defeated the Houston Cougars 34-31 but failed to cover the 12.5-point spread. As an underdog, the Mustangs have won their last two games SU, and in the last nine they’re 7-2 ATS.
Memphis edged the Tulsa Golden Hurricane 42-41 as a 10-point favorite last week to stand at 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS on the season. At home, Memphis has won six straight at 5-1 ATS, and the Tigers are 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS in their last 11. The Tigers have won five straight against the Mustangs both SU and ATS.
Oregon favored by 5 in visit to USC
The Oregon Ducks are 5-point road favorites Saturday as they visit the Pac-12 rival USC Trojans.
Oregon has won seven straight at 4-3 ATS, and is coming off a 37-35 win over the Washington State Cougars as a 14.5-point favorite. The Ducks are a disappointing 4-7 SU and ATS in their last 11 road games, and as a road favorite they’re 5-5 SU and ATS in their last 10.
USC has won its last four home games while going 3-1 ATS. As a home underdog, the Trojans are only 2-5 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven. The last time USC hosted Oregon in 2016, the Trojans won 45-20 as a 16.5-point favorite. Despite that win, the Trojans are 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six vs Oregon.
