College Football Week 13 Betting Preview
Big Ten rivals No. 3 Michigan and No. 2 Ohio State clash this weekend in a marquee betting matchup, and the Buckeyes are 6.5-point favorites at the Bovada sportsbook as they go for their fifth straight win.
Last week Ohio State barely escaped with a 17-16 win over the Michigan State Spartans as a 20-point favorite. In their last seven games the Buckeyes are only 2-5 against the spread, but during a six-game home winning streak they’re 4-2 ATS.
Michigan defeated the Indiana Hoosiers 20-10 as a 24.5-point favorite last time out, dropping to 1-4 ATS in their last five games. The Wolverines are 1-11 SU in their last 12 versus Ohio State and have lost their last four straight against them while going 2-2 ATS. At home Ohio State has won seven in a row versus Michigan at 5-2 ATS.
In the SEC this weekend, the No. 15 Auburn Tigers will be in tough when they visit the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide.
Auburn is a 17.5-point underdog despite going 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games. They pounded the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 55-0 last week as a 53-point favorite.
Alabama won their 23rd straight game last week with a 31-3 win over the Chattanooga Mocs as a 48.5-point favorite. Against Auburn the Crimson Tide are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five. On the road the Tigers have a surprising 5-4 record SU and 4-5 mark ATS in their last nine versus Alabama. The Crimson Tide are also 6-2 ATS in their last eight games at home.
Finally, the No. 12 Utah Utes are a big road underdog this week as they face the No. 10 Colorado Buffaloes.
Colorado is a 10.5-point favorite and have won their last five while going 4-1 ATS. They downed Washington State 38-24 as a 6-point favorite last week and are an impressive 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games.
Utah is coming off a 30-28 upset loss to the Oregon Ducks as an 11.5-point favorite. The Utes have lost two of their last three games overall, but have had great success against Colorado in the past. Utah has won their last four SU versus the Buffaloes, but they’ve lost five in a row ATS.
