College Football Week 7 Betting Preview
The No. 9 ranked Tennessee Volunteers will have their hands full this weekend as a home underdog when they try to snap the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide’s winning streak.
Tennessee just had their own 11-game winning streak come to an end with a 45-38 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies as a 7.5-point underdog. This week at online sportsbook Bovada they are a 13-point home underdog versus Alabama.
The Crimson Tide have won 18 straight while going 11-7 ATS. Last week they defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 49-30 as a 14.5-point favorite. Alabama has won eight straight as a road favorite, but they’re only 4-3-1 against the spread in that span.
Tennessee is a lousy 2-11 straight up and 4-8-1 ATS in their last 13 games as a home underdog. Against Alabama the Volunteers have lost nine straight with a 3-6 ATS record.
The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes also have a ranked matchup on tap this weekend as they visit the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers.
The Buckeyes are on a seven-game winning streak at 6-1 ATS after downing the Indiana Hoosiers 38-17 as a 28-point favorite. On the road they’ve been killer, having won 19 straight with a 13-6 ATS record.
The Badgers last took the field on October 1 when they suffered their first loss of the season 14-7 against the Michigan Wolverines as a 12-point underdog.
Ohio State is a 10-point road favorite at Bovada and in their last 16 games as road chalk the Buckeyes are 16-0 SU and 10-6 ATS. Wisconsin is an impressive 5-2 SU and ATS in their last seven games as a home underdog.
In their last eight versus Wisconsin, Ohio State is 7-1 SU and ATS. In their last six trips to Wisconsin the Buckeyes are 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS.
The last ranked matchup on the docket this weekend pits the No 12 Mississippi Rebels against No. 22 Arkansas.
The Rebels improved to 3-2 SU and ATS on the season last week with a 48-28 win over the Memphis Tigers as a 15.5-point favorite. The Rebels are a 7.5-point favorite this week, but they have not performed well as a road favorite. In their last eight as road chalk the Rebels are 2-6 SU and 1-6-1 ATS.
Following their loss to Alabama last week the Razorbacks are 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS in their last three games. In their last 10 as a home underdog they sport a terrible 1-9 record SU and 5-5 mark ATS.
In their last six games versus the Rebels the Razorbacks are 4-2 SU and ATS.
