Euro 2020 Futures Odds: France Tops The List
Heading into the knockout stages at Euro 2020, France remains the favorite to win the tournament.
In the latest Euro 2020 futures odds at Bovada Sportsbook, France is a +350 favorite. France won Group F, considered to be this year’s group of death, with a win over Germany and draws against Portugal and Hungary. In the Round of 16, the French will face Switzerland and are expected to roll past the Swiss as -185 favorites.
Following France on the Euro 2020 futures at Bovada are Italy at +500 and Germany and England, both at +650.
Undefeated Italy second in odds to win Euro 2020
Italy went undefeated in the group stage, capturing Group A with wins over Wales, Switzerland and Turkey. Not only did Italy easily win all their games in the group stage, they didn’t allow a single goal. Next up for the Italians in the Round of 16 is Austria. Italy is a -205 favorite in that match.
Either Germany or England will be eliminated in the Round of 16 because they’re playing each other. England won Group D after defeating Croatia and the Czech Republic and posting a draw against Scotland. Germany finished behind France in Group D after posting a win against Portugal, a draw against Hungary and a loss to the French. At Bovada, England is a +155 favorite in the match, which will be played on England’s home turf at Wembley Stadium.
The rest of the contenders for Euro 2020 according to the Bovada futures include Belgium and Spain, both at +800, the Netherlands at +900 and defending champion Portugal at +1200.
Belgium faces Ronaldo, Portugal in Round of 16
Belgium rolled through the group stage undefeated with wins over Denmark, Finland and Russia. They’ll get a much bigger test in the Round of 16 against Portugal. They’re +145 against a Portugal squad that is 1-1-1 in the tournament and boasts the leading goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Spain recorded one win and two draws in the group stage despite outscoring their opponents 6-1. A 5-0 win over Slovakia helped, of course. In the Round of 16, Spain takes on Croatia as a -155 favorite.
The Netherlands won Group C by posting wins over Austria, Ukraine and North Macedonia. They’re expected to continue to roll through the Round of 16 after drawing the Czech Republic. The Netherlands are the -145 favorites in that matchup.
