Florida State Faces Tough ACC Test on Thursday Night
As Florida State continues its quest for a second straight national title it will face one of its tougher tests in conference play this season with a road trip to Louisville to tangle with the Cardinals as a 6-point favorite this Thursday night on the 5Dimes betting odds.
The Seminoles may be a perfect 7-0 this season, but numerous close calls along the way have them just 1-6 against the spread. Thursday night’s action in the NFL is an NFC South showdown between the 3-4 New Orleans Saints and the 3-4-1 Carolina Panthers for first place in the division. The Saints are sitting as slight 1-point road favorites despite being 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS on the road this season. The total for this contest has been set at 48 points. Carolina is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings and the total has gone OVER in four of the last six meetings.
A big game on Sunday’s slate has 6-1 Denver on the road against 6-2 New England in a battle for supremacy in the AFC. These two met in last season’s conference title game with Denver winning 26-16 as a 4.5-point home favorite. This time around 5Dimes has opened the Broncos as 3-point favorites on the road with the total set at 55. The Patriots have won four of their last five home games against Denver both SU and ATS.
