Miami’s biggest competition out East this year could be the New York Knicks, who finished the season on an impressive 16-2 SU and 15-3 ATS run. They kick their postseason off Saturday as a 6.5-point favorite at home against the Boston Celtics. 5Dimes provides lines for the rest of Saturday’s action: Golden State Warriors (+7.5) at Denver Nuggets (-7.5), Chicago Bulls (+4.5) at Brooklyn Nets (-4.5), and Memphis Grizzlies (+5.0) at Los Angeles Clippers (-5.0). On Saturday, the San Jose Sharks host the Columbus Blue Jackets. San Jose entered Thursday 10-2-1 over its last 13 games and fighting for home ice while Columbus entered Thursday on a five-game winning streak and fighting for the Western Conference’s eighth and final playoff spot. Columbus has won three straight against San Jose, but all three games were in Columbus; San Jose is 15-1-5 at home this season.
Two of the preseason favorites to win the AL Pennant meet in a three-game series starting Friday when the Detroit Tigers visit the Los Angeles Angels. Detroit is off to a strong 9-5 start while Los Angeles is just 4-10 out of the gate. Anibal Sanchez is set to take the mound as a -115 road favorite at 5Dimes against Tommy Hanson and the Angels (+105) on Friday.
