Jaguars Hosting the Titans on Thursday Night
Despite their terrible records on the season both the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars still have a shot at the AFC South title as they prepare to meet up on Thursday Night Football.
The Titans dropped to 2-7 last week following a 27-10 loss to Carolina as a 3.5-point underdog. Rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota had a rough game completing 16-of-24 passes for 185 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Dexter McCluster led Tennessee in rushing with only 25 yards and a TD, while Delanie Walker caught three passes for 52 yards.
Jacksonville edged Baltimore 22-20 as a 5-point underdog last week. Jason Myers secured the victory with a 53-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter. Blake Bortles passed for 188 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the win. Both Allens got in on the action, as Allen Hurns caught five passes for 62 yards and a TD and Allen Robinson had five receptions for 51 yards and a TD.
The Jaguars defense also made an impact by forcing four turnovers.
The Jaguars are a 3-point home favorite at online sportsbook Bovada for Thursday. Jacksonville’s home record leaves a lot to be desired at 6-14 SU and 7-12-1 ATS in their last 20.
