Madness ends, Baseball well underway for sports bettors

The No. 4 Michigan Wolverines are a perfect 5-0 SU and ATS in NCAA Tournament play with two outright upsets, and will look to add one more upset to the resume along with a National Championship when they play the No. 1 Louisville Cardinals on Monday night.

The Wolverines are a 4-point underdog in the big game at Bovada as the No. 1 Louisville Cardinals are 15-0 SU and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games and entered the tournament as the top seed overall. The total for this game is set at 138 points at Bovada; the total has gone OVER in each of Louisville’s last nine games.

Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks extended their winning streak to 12 games Sunday with a road upset over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Knicks are 11-1 ATS over the winning streak, and will look to add to it this week when they host the Washington Wizards on Tuesday and go on the road to face the Chicago Bulls on Thursday. The Knicks are 11-1 SU and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games against the Wizards, but have struggled against Chicago with an 0-4 SU and ATS record in their last four games against the Bulls.

While the Knicks have been tearing up the hardwood of late, the San Jose Sharks have been tearing it up on the ice with a 7-0-1 record over their last eight games. The Sharks face two tough road tests this week on the road against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday and the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. The Sharks are 0-2 SU in their last two games against Columbus and 5-2 SU in their last seven games against the Red Wings.

Baseball’s single interleague series this week also happens to be one of the week’s most intriguing matchups between two hot-starting teams as the Washington Nationals are set to host the Chicago White Sox in a three-game series starting Tuesday. Chicago’s Jake Peavy and Washington’s Gio Gonzalez are set to take the mound in Tuesday’s opener. Chicago is 4-2 SU in its last six games against the Nationals.
