Another key matchup on Saturday’s college football betting schedule sends No. 21 Texas A&M on the road to face No. 7 Alabama after suffering back-to-back losses to Mississippi State and Ole Miss the past two weeks both SU and ATS. The Aggies have been opened as 12-point underdogs against the Crimson Tide, who are 5-1 SU but just 1-5 ATS. Texas A&M comes in at 2-6 ATS in its last eight road games as an underdog, while Alabama is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games as a home favorite.
No. 14 Kansas State will try and keep its run up the national ranking on the fast track as an 8-point road underdog against No. 11 Oklahoma in an early afternoon clash in the Big 12 on Saturday. The Wildcats are 4-1 SU on the year and they have covered in their last three games after an 0-2 start ATS. The Sooners fell from No. 4 in the rankings with their stunning 37-33 loss to TCU on October 4 as 3.5-point road favorites and they struggled to get by Texas 31-26 this past Saturday as heavy 16.5-point favorites at home to fall to 3-3 ATS this year.
Turning to Thursday night’s game in the NFL, the New York Jets will try and snap a five-game losing streak both SU and ATS as heavy 10.5-point road underdogs at 5Dimes against New England in a bitter AFC East rivalry game. A big showdown on Sunday’s NFL schedule is an NFC East clash between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, who are riding a five-game winning streak SU with a 4-1 record ATS.
