Marquee Matchups for Football Bettors this Weekend

Each team will put that lofty ranking on the line in a couple of showdowns in the SEC as we look at the top betting matchups on the college and pro gridirons for this weekend.
The Bulldogs will play host to No. 2 Auburn as 3-point underdogs at sportsbook 5Dimes with the total set at 63. They head into that game with a 4-8 record against the spread in their 12 games against the Tigers.
The Rebels will go on the road as 2.5-point underdogs in this Saturday’s matchup against No. 14 Texas A&M. The total in that game has been set at 63 and it has stayed UNDER in five of Mississippi’s last seven road games as an underdog. It has also stayed UNDER in three of the Aggies' last four games as home favorites.
One of the top showdowns in the Pac-12 this Saturday has No. 12 Oregon on the road against No. 18 UCLA. Both teams are coming off a bad loss as favorites last Saturday, so this becomes a must-win proposition for both of these conference foes. The Ducks have been listed as 2.5-point favorites on the 5Dimes betting odds with the total set at 69. They have covered ATS in three of the last four meetings.
Week 6 in the NFL gets underway with first place on the line in the AFC South. Both Indianapolis and Houston have opened the season with a SU 3-2 record and they will battle it out on Thursday Night Football. The Colts have been listed as slight 2.5-point favorites on the road and the total for this contest is set at 47. Indianapolis has won the last three meetings both SU and ATS.
Sunday Night Football will feature another battle with first place in the division possibly on the line. The 3-2 New York Giants head down I95 to Lincoln Financial Field to square off against the 4-1 Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are currently listed as 2.5-point favorites with the total set at 50.5. They bring a 9-3 edge over the Giants both SU and ATS into this NFC East showdown.
