NBA Betting: Pacers Line Up For Back-to-Back
The surging Indiana Pacers begin the week with a back-to-back as they face the Cleveland Cavaliers at home Tuesday, followed by a road game against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
Indiana heads into Tuesday night on a seven-game winning streak during which it is 5-2 against the spread. On Wednesday the Pacers travel to Toronto to face the struggling and injury-plagued Raptors. Toronto is 2-4 SU and ATS in its last six and a lousy 3-7 ATS in the last 10. On Sunday, Toronto was dismantled by the Denver Nuggets 95-86 as a 3-point underdog.
This is the first matchup this season between Toronto and Indiana. The Raptors have won three straight against the Pacers at 2-1 ATS, and at home they’ve taken seven straight vs the Pacers at 4-3 ATS.
When playing back-to-back games this season. the Pacers are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in the first half, and 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in the back half.
Surprising Nets have won six straight ATS
In another matchup on the Tuesday night NBA schedule, the red-hot Brooklyn Nets play host to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Nets have surprisingly won five in a row SU and six straight ATS. It’s surprising because before winning five in a row, they had lost eight straight.
The Lakers are coming off a 128-110 loss to the Washington Wizards as a 3.5-point favorite at Bovada Sportsbook. That setback dropped them to 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six. On the road they’re also 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six, and on the season they’re 7-8 SU and 6-9 ATS.
The Lakers have dominated this matchup, going 5-1 SU and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six vs the Nets. In Brooklyn, the Lakers are 9-2 SU and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11.
