NBA Betting: Streaking Bulls challenge Cavs
The red-hot Chicago Bulls hope to continue their winning ways Thursday night when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Bulls headed into a Wednesday night matchup with the Orlando Magic having won six in a row straight up and seven straight against the spread. Chicago hasn’t had the same success on the road, though, with a 2-9 record SU and 5-6 ATS mark in the last 11.
Cleveland is 5-1 SU in its last six but only 2-4 ATS. The Cavaliers have been disappointing bettors a lot recently with a 3-8 ATS record in their last 11 games.
This season the Cavaliers are 2-0 SU versus the Bulls and 1-1 ATS. Entering this season the Bulls had dominated the matchup, having won five straight SU and seven straight ATS versus Cleveland.
The Toronto Raptors will likely be road favorites at Bovada Sportsbook on Thursday night when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors were in action against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night, and entered that game 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10.
The 76ers are a dreadful 1-7 SU and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games. That lackluster ATS performance is an ongoing trend, as they are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12.
Toronto routed the 76ers 128-94 as a 9-point home favorite in their only matchup this season. The Raptors have dominated the 76ers for years, with a 16-1 SU mark and 12-5 ATS record in their last 17 matchups.
The Boston Celtics could also be a road favorite Thursday night when they face the New York Knicks. If the Celtics are favored, that doesn’t mean they’re a surefire smart bet, as they’re 3-6-1 ATS in their last 10 games.
The Knicks are on a solid run lately at 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five games. As a home underdog, the Knicks have been a strong pick for bettors at 5-3 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight.
In their lone matchup with the Knicks so far this season, the Celtics rolled to a 110-89 win as a 7-point favorite. In their last seven against New York, Boston is 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS.
