NBA Betting: Warriors Rematch with Rockets
A busy week for the Golden State Warriors continues Friday night as they play their third game in four days when they host the Houston Rockets.
The Warriors have won nine straight games following a 110-98 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday as a 4.5-point underdog at the Bovada sportsbook. Golden State is 7-2 against the spread during their winning streak and in their last 16 games at home they're a strong 15-1 SU and 9-6-1 ATS.
Houston is in action Thursday night on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers. Playing the second half of a back-to-back hasn't hurt the Rockets this season, as they are 13-1 SU and 10-4 ATS in 14 games in that situation.
The Rockets hosted the Warriors on Tuesday as a 1.5-point favorite and lost 113-106. That snapped a four-game winning streak during which they were 3-1 ATS. On the road against the Warriors the Rockets are 1-10 SU and 8-3 ATS in their last 11.
Also on Friday night, the San Antonio Spurs take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Spurs had a five-game winning streak snapped Wednesday with that 110-98 loss to Golden State. The Thunder are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 after downing the Orlando Magic 114-106 as a 5-point favorite on Wednesday.
The Thunder have had the Spurs' number lately at 5-2 SU and ATS in their last seven games against them, and 9-3 ATS in their last 12. At home the Thunder have won their last four against the Spurs SU and ATS, and they're 14-3 SU and ATS in their last 17.
And the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers could be in for a much-needed cakewalk Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Cleveland is also in action Thursday against the Chicago Bulls and heading into that game had lost three of their last four SU and ATS. When playing the second game of a back-to-back this season Cleveland is a disappointing 5-10 SU and 4-11 ATS.
Philadelphia is 2-4 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six following a 99-92 loss to the Atlanta Hawks as a 2-point underdog on Wednesday. In their last 12 road games they are 3-9 SU, but 9-3 ATS.
The Cavaliers have won their last eight versus Philadelphia, but they were only 1-7 ATS in those games.
