Virginia is currently going off at 8/1 to win the NCAA Tournament according to online sportsbook Bovada. The Cavaliers lost one of their top scorers in Justin Anderson to an injury, but he should be available again for the team by the time the tournament begins. Since picking up its first loss of the season to Duke, the Cavs have responded nicely with back-to-back wins over ranked teams in UNC and Louisville.
The path to the championship will likely go through the Kentucky Wildcats, the nation's unanimous No. 1 and the only team in the country that is still undefeated. Like Virginia, Kentucky is built on great defensive play ranking second in the nation with 52.2 points per game against. The Wildcats do have more firepower on offense with 73.6 points per game compared to Virginia's 67.6. Kentucky is an 11/10 favorite to win it all at Bovada.
Gonzaga may not have much competition in the West Coast Conference, but the Bulldogs have passed the eye test this season with a 24-1 SU and 12-9-2 ATS record through 25 games. The Bulldogs beat SMU 72-56 in November and pushed Arizona to overtime on the road in their only loss of the season. Led by Kyle Wiltjer on offense, Gonzaga averages 80.7 points per game and looks poised for a deep run at 9/1 to win the championship at Bovada.
Arizona is going off at 12/1 to win the college basketball title at Bovada.
