NFL Betting: NFC Division Odds

Tom Brady may now be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, but the New Orleans Saints are still the team to beat in the NFC South according to the oddsmakers.

On the latest NFC South futures odds at Bovada Sportsbook, the Saints are a -135 favorite to win the division. Following the return of Drew Brees and the addition of Emmanuel Sanders alongside Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara, the Saints offense should be among the best in the league again this year.

The addition of Brady has given the Buccaneers a major boost on the futures, up to +200. Tampa Bay should be no slouch on offense either with a strong receiver corps led by Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and O.J. Howard.

Cowboys, Eagles neck and neck in NFC East odds

In the NFC East, the oddsmakers have made it a coin flip between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

Both the Cowboys and Eagles are listed at +120 to win the division. Dallas retained its offensive stars with Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper all back, but the real difference-maker for the Cowboys could be Mike McCarthy taking over as head coach.

The Eagles won their last four games last season to take the NFC East and sneak into the playoffs. Philadelphia did that despite a depleted offense ravaged by injuries. It will be interesting to see if the Eagles can stay healthy this season and win another division title.

Packers slight faves over Vikings in NFC North

In the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers are division favorites at +130, but the Minnesota Vikings are close behind at +175.

The Packers made an under-the-radar move in signing receiver Devin Funchess, which should give Aaron Rodgers another reliable target alongside Davante Adams.

Minnesota ditched Stefon Diggs, which will put more pressure on Kirk Cousins and Adam Thielen in the passing game. More likely is a run-focused offense carried by Dalvin Cook.

Also in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears are a +425 underdog. The Bears went from division champs in 2018 to an 8-8 disappointment last year. They brought in Nick Foles to try to push quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Could he be the piece needed to get the Bears back to the top of the division?

Niners big favorites to defend NFC West title

In the NFC West, the San Francisco 49ers are expected to repeat as champs at +105. The Niners’ ferocious defense lost a major piece following the trade of DeForest Buckner, but the draft pick they got for him is expected to net them some grade A talent in what is a deep draft.

Following the 49ers on the odds are the Seattle Seahawks at +250 and the Los Angeles Rams at +400. Seattle added some help for Russell Wilson in the offseason and looks strong enough to challenge San Francisco in the division. The Rams’ downturn has been fast, and there’s no better example than the fate of running back Todd Gurley, who went from offensive player of the year to cut in a few seasons.
