NFL Draft Betting Lines & Props

The spotlight returns to the NFL on Thursday night with the first round of the NFL Draft in Kansas City. The first overall pick looks like a sure thing but after that everything else appears to be up in the air, giving bettors a chance to cash in on the unexpected.

If you want to wager on who will be taken first overall the heavy favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook is quarterback Bryce Young at -2000. If somehow all the experts are wrong and Young isn’t the first name called on Thursday night the odds on a few other quarterbacks that have a chance of going to the Carolina Panthers include C.J. Stroud at +850 and Anthony Richardson at +1600.

Wagers available on second overall pick

One wager that bettors might be able to make some scratch on Thursday night is wagering on the second overall pick. The surprising favorite right now is quarterback Will Levis at -130. We scanned half a dozen mock drafts by so-called NFL experts and not one had Levis going at No. 2. This could mean taking Tyree Wilson (+230), Will Anderson (+350), or Stroud (+400) to go at No. 2 could be a profitable pick.

In line with wagering on the No. 2 pick is betting on who will be the second quarterback taken in the draft. The favorite is Levis at -160, followed by Stroud at +110, and Richardson at +425. If you think the unexpected will happen and Young won’t go first overall, you can get him as the second QB drafted at +1800 odds.

One of the most unprofitable bets currently available looks to be the first running back drafted. Bijan Robinson is a massive favorite at -10000. Again, if the unexpected happens you can also get Jahmyr Gibbs at +1000.

OVER/UNDER bets are also on the board

Other popular, potentially profitable wagers include the OVER/UNDER on where specific players will be drafted and what teams will draft them. A couple interesting examples include Richardson and Robinson.

For Richardson his OVER/UNDER is set at 4.5 with the OVER favored at -330. The team favored to draft Richardson is the Tennessee Titans at +200, followed by the Seattle Seahawks at +250, and the Indianapolis Colts at +375. Tennessee owns the No. 11 pick in the first round and may need to trade up for a shot at Richardson.

For Robinson his OVER/UNDER is set at 13.5 with the UNDER favored at -155. The team favored to draft Robinson is the Atlanta Falcons at +200, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles at +300, and the Houston Texans at +500.
