NFL Week 1 Betting Preview
The NFL season kicks off on Thursday night with the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Detroit Lions.

AFC North rivals highlight Sunday NFL betting slate
In the AFC North on Sunday division rivals face off when the Cleveland Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals as 2.5-point home underdogs.
Cleveland was 7-10 SU and 8-9 ATS last season. The Browns are 4-4 SU and ATS in their last eight home games, and as a home underdog they’re 2-5 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven games.
Cincinnati was 14-5 SU and 13-6 ATS last season. In their last 11 games the Bengals are 10-1 SU and 8-3 ATS. As a road favorite they’re 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games.
The Browns and Bengals split the season series last year with the home team winning each game SU and ATS. In their last six games versus the Bengals the Browns are 5-1 SU and 2-4 ATS. As an underdog versus the Bengals the Browns are 2-7 ATS in their last nine outings.
Then on Sunday night NFC East rivals clash when the New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys as 3.5-point underdogs.
The Giants were 10-8-1 SU and 14-5 ATS last season. As a home underdog the Giants are 5-3-1 SU and 6-3 ATS in their last nine games. In those nine games they were 7-1-1 on the UNDER for totals bettors.
Dallas was 13-6 SU and 11-8 ATS last season. On the road the Cowboys are 3-5 SU and ATS in their last eight games and they’re 3-3 SU and ATS in their last six games as road favorites.
The Cowboys were 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS versus the Giants last season. In this matchup Dallas is 9-1 SU and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
Bills favorites on road against Jets on Monday night
Week 1 concludes Monday night with the Buffalo Bills visiting the New York Jets as 2.5-point road favorites.
Buffalo was 14-4 SU and 8-9-1 ATS last season. On the road the Bills are 5-1 SU and 3-2-1 ATS in their last six games and they were favored in all six games. In their last 14 primetime games the Bills are 10-4 ATS.
The Jets were 7-10 SU and 8-9 ATS last season. They finished the season with six straight losses and a 1-5 ATS record. The Jets have been a solid UNDER wager with a 10-2 UNDER record in their last 12 games.
The Bills and Jets split the season series last year, but the Jets were 2-0 ATS. Buffalo is 5-1 SU and 3-3 ATS in its last six games versus the Jets.
