NFL Week 10 Betting Preview and Trends
Three double-digit favorites highlight the Sunday schedule in Week 10 of the NFL, starting with the New Orleans Saints at home to the Atlanta Falcons.
At Bovada Sportsbook, the Saints are 13-point favorites. Both New Orleans and Atlanta are coming off their bye week. The Saints entered their bye week having won six straight both straight up and against the spread. At home they’ve won four in a row at 3-1 ATS, but prior to that winning streak they had lost five straight at home ATS. New Orleans is only 2-6 ATS in its last eight when favored.
The Falcons have been one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, going 1-7 SU and 2-6 ATS. Before their bye week, they snapped a five-game ATS losing streak in a 27-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks as 7.5-point underdogs. As a double-digit underdog, the Falcons have lost nine straight, but they’re 6-3 ATS.
Last season the Saints were 2-0 SU and ATS vs the Falcons. In the last eight against Atlanta, New Orleans is 6-2 ATS.
Ravens soar into Cincy as 10-point chalk
The lone double-digit road favorite on Sunday is the Baltimore Ravens, who have been listed as a 10-point favorite at the Cincinnati Bengals.
Baltimore handed New England its first loss last week, blowing out the Patriots 37-20 as a 3-point underdog to improve to 6-2 SU and 3-4-1 ATS. On the road the Ravens are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven, but as a road favorite they’re 3-3 SU and 2-3-1 ATS in their last six. When favored by double digits, the Ravens have won nine straight, but they’re only 2-7 ATS.
Cincinnati remains winless on the season at 0-8 SU and is 3-5 ATS. In the last 16 games, Cincinnati is an awful 1-15 SU and 8-8 ATS. The Bengals are 1-8 ATS in their last nine at home, but as a home underdog they’re 7-4-1 ATS in their last 12.
In Week 6, the Ravens defeated the Bengals 23-17 as a 10.5-point favorite. Cincinnati has won four straight ATS vs Baltimore and as a home underdog against the Ravens, the Bengals are 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six.
Dolphins 4-12 ATS in last 16 road games
The other double-digit spread on Sunday is the Indianapolis Colts vs the Miami Dolphins as a 10-point home favorite.
The Colts are coming off a 26-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as 1-point underdogs that dropped them to 5-3 SU and 4-3-1 ATS. At home the Colts are 9-1 SU and 5-4-1 ATS in their last 10. As a double-digit favorite, the Colts have won eight straight at 5-3 ATS.
The Dolphins posted their first win of the season last week, defeating the New York Jets 26-18 as a 3.5-point underdog. That was the Dolphins’ fourth straight win ATS. Miami is 1-15 SU and 4-12 ATS in its last 16 road games, and as a double-digit underdog has lost six straight at 2-4 ATS.
