Denver lost to Indianapolis 27-24 as a 3-point favorite last week. Peyton Manning had two touchdowns and two interceptions. Also hurting Denver was an injury to DeMarcus Ware that will sideline him for a few weeks and an eye-gouging penalty by Aqib Talib that will see him suspended for this weekend’s game
The Chiefs were on their bye last week and in their last game whipped Detroit 45-10 as a 3-point favorite. Four different players scored rushing touchdowns in the victory.
On the road the Chiefs are an abysmal 1-6 SU and ATS in their last seven games. Denver excels at home at 13-1 SU and 7-7 ATS in their last 14.
Back in Week 2 Denver defeated Kansas City 31-24 as a 3-point underdog. The Broncos scored two touchdowns in the final 40 seconds of the fourth quarter on a Manning TD pass and a Jamaal Charles fumble to secure the win.
