NFL Week 12 Slate: Best Betting Matchups
The Jets and Giants will both try to get over the .500 mark and strengthen their chances at a playoff spot when they take on Miami and Washington in Week 12 of the NFL season.
The Jets have lost four of their last five games after losing to Houston 24-17 as a 4-point favorite. Ryan Fitzpatrick passed for 216 yards with a touchdown pass, a TD run and two interceptions. The Jets are also 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games.
The Dolphins lost to Dallas 24-14 as a 2.5-point underdog last week. Ryan Tannehill passed for 188 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception and Lamar Miller had 44 yards on seven carries.
In Week 4 the Jets defeated the Dolphins 27-14 as a 2.5-point road favorite. In the rematch the Jets are a 4-point favorite at online sportsbook Bovada. Chris Ivory dominated for New York with 166 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries.
The Jets are 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in their last four games, but Miami has had the upper hand when playing the Jets on the road lately. In their last seven road games against New York the Dolphins are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS.
The Giants travel to Washington Sunday to face the Redskins as a 3-point road favorite at Bovada.
New York is coming off their bye and last time out were edged by New England 27-26 as a 7-point underdog. Eli Manning passed for 361 yards and a touchdown, but the Pats secured the win with a last-second field goal.
Washington was crushed by Carolina last week 44-16 as a 7-point underdog. Kirk Cousins passed for 207 yards with a touchdown and an interception and the Redskins running game was non-existent with only 14 yards on the ground.
In Week 4 the Giants defeated Washington 32-21 as a 3-point favorite. That was the Giants' fifth straight win over the Redskins both SU and ATS. In their last 20 games against Washington the Giants are 15-5 SU and 12-7-1 ATS. They’re also dominant on the road with a 7-2 record SU and 6-3 mark ATS in their last nine games in Washington.
Also on tap this weekend the Bengals try to get back on track when they play host to St. Louis as a 9-point favorite at Bovada.
The Bengals have lost back-to-back games after falling to Arizona 34-31 as a 4-point underdog. Andy Dalton passed for 315 yards with a pair of touchdowns and both were caught by tight end Tyler Eifert. Even after dropping two in a row the Bengals are still 8-1-1 ATS on the season.
St. Louis lost to Baltimore 16-13 as a 3-point underdog last week to extend their losing streak to three. Case Keenum reportedly suffered a concussion but stayed in the game leaving his availability this week up in the air. Last week’s push gives the Rams a 4-8-1 ATS record in their last 13 games.
On the road the Rams have been pushovers lately with a 1-5 record SU and a 1-4-1 mark ATS in their last six games. The Bengals are the opposite at home with a 5-1 record SU and 4-1-1 mark ATS in their last six games.
