NFL Week 14 Betting Preview
Week 14 of the NFL season is loaded with divisional matchups including an important NFC clash on Sunday between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons that could decide the eventual division champion.
At the Bovada Sportsbook the Falcons are 2.5-point home favorites. Atlanta leads the division at 6-6 straight up with a 4-8 record against the spread. They’re coming off a 13-8 win over the New York Jets as 2-point favorites. At home the Falcons are 1-4 ATS in their last five and when favored they’re 1-6 ATS in their last seven.
Tampa Bay is 5-7 SU and 7-5 ATS following last week’s 21-18 win over the Carolina Panthers as 3.5-point favorites. On the road the Buccaneers have lost four straight but they’re 5-1 ATS in their last six.
In Week 7 Atlanta defeated Tampa Bay 16-13 as 3-point road underdogs. In this matchup Atlanta has won three straight ATS.
Niners heavy favorites playing host to Seahawks
In the NFC West on Sunday the San Francisco 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks as 10.5-point favorites.
San Francisco is 9-3 SU and 7-5 ATS after last week’s 42-19 win over the Philadelphia Eagles as 3-point favorites. The 49ers have won four straight at 3-1 ATS and at home they’re 12-1 SU and 10-3 ATS in their last 13.
Seattle is 6-6 SU and 6-5-1 ATS and is coming off a 41-35 loss to the Dallas Cowboys as 9.5-point underdogs. The Seahawks have lost three in a row with a 2-1 ATS record and as an underdog they’re lost five straight at 2-3 ATS.
In Week 12 San Francisco defeated Seattle 31-13 as 7-point road favorites. In this matchup the 49ers have won four straight both SU and ATS.
Chiefs are small chalk in matchup against the Bills
Outside the divisional matchups this week the Kansas City Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills as 2.5-point favorites.
The Chiefs are 8-4 SU and 7-5 ATS following last weeks 27-19 upset loss to the Green Bay Packers as 6-point favorites. At home Kansas City is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five. They’ve been a strong UNDER play lately at 6-2 UNDER in their last eight, and 7-1 UNDER in their last eight home games.
The Bills are 6-6 SU and 4-8 ATS and are coming off their bye week. The Bills are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games, and as an underdog they’ve lost three straight both SU and ATS.
Last season Buffalo defeated Kansas City 34-20 as 2.5-point favorites. In this matchup the Chiefs are 6-4 SU and ATS in the last 10 games.
Sunday night contest has Cowboys hosting Eagles
And on Sunday night NFC East rivals clash when the Dallas Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles as 3.5-point favorites.
Dallas is 9-3 SU and 8-4 ATS after last week’s 41-35 win over Seattle as 9.5-point favorites. Dallas has won four straight with a 3-1 ATS record. At home they’ve won 14 in a row with an 11-3 ATS mark.
Philadelphia is 10-2 SU and 7-3-2 ATS and is coming off a 42-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers as 3-point underdogs. As an underdog the Eagles are 1-7 SU and 2-6 ATS in their last eight.
In Week 9 Philadelphia defeated Dallas 28-23 as 3-point home favorites. In their last five home games against the Eagles the Cowboys are 5-0 SU and ATS.
