The Dallas Cowboys will try to maintain their tenuous hold on first place in the NFC East in Week 14 when they visit the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football.

Dallas has been strong in December in recent years, at 8-2 SU and 5-3-2 ATS in its last 10.
By failing to cover in last week’s win over Detroit, the Bears dropped to 3-9 ATS on the season. In its last eight games, Chicago is 1-7 ATS and 3-5 SU. The Bears are also a money-losing 2-5 ATS in their last seven at home. However, as a home underdog, the Bears have been a strong bet. In their last 13 games as a home underdog, the Bears are 10-2-1 ATS.
Cowboys, Bears have gone OVER in six straight meetings
The Cowboys and Bears last met up in 2016 when Dallas rolled to a 31-17 win as a 6.5-point home favorite. That was the Cowboys’ second straight win over the Bears both SU and ATS, but in their last eight against Chicago, they’re 4-4 SU and ATS. In Chicago, the Cowboys are also 4-4 SU and ATS in their last eight games.
For totals bettors, the last six matchups between the Cowboys and Bears have all gone OVER the posted total. The Cowboys are 6-2 OVER in their last eight games on the road. Chicago is 5-1 UNDER in its last six and has been a strong UNDER play at home, with an 8-1 UNDER mark in its last nine home games.
