NFL Week 15 Betting Preview
Week 15 of the NFL season begins with what could be another low-scoring Thursday Night Football dud when the Las Vegas Raiders host the Los Angeles Chargers.
At the Bovada Sportsbook the Raiders are 3-point home favorites. The Raiders are 5-8 straight up and 6-6-1 against the spread following last week’s 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings as 3-point underdogs. That was their third straight loss during which they’re 1-1-1 ATS. Last week’s score obviously went UNDER the posted total which has been the norm lately for the Raiders who are 9-2 UNDER in their last 11 games.
The Chargers are 5-8 SU and ATS and are coming off a 24-7 loss to the Denver Broncos as 3-point favorites. The Chargers have also been a strong UNDER play lately with a 10-1 UNDER record in their last 11 games. As an underdog they’ve lost five straight at 1-4 ATS.
In Week 4 the Chargers defeated the Raiders 24-17 as 6.5-point home favorites. In this matchup the Chargers are 4-2 SU and ATS in the last six game, but they’ve lost their last two games in Las Vegas.
Broncos underdogs on the road versus Lions
On Saturday the surging Denver Broncos take on the Detroit Lions as 5-point road underdogs.
Denver is 7-6 SU and 5-7-1 ATS after last week’s 24-7 win over the Chargers as 3-point underdogs. The Broncos are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and as an underdog they’re 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four.
Detroit is 9-4 SU and 8-5 ATS and is coming off a 28-13 upset loss to the Chicago Bears as 3-point favorites. The Lions have dropped two of their last three games both SU and ATS, and when favored they’re 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10, which includes a 1-3 ATS mark in their last four.
In this matchup the Broncos have won three straight both SU and ATS, and they’re 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS in the last 10.
Bills host the Cowboys in marquee matchup
On Sunday the Buffalo Bills host the Dallas Cowboys as 2.5-point home favorites.
Buffalo is 7-6 SU and 5-8 ATS following last week’s 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs as 2-point underdogs. The Bills are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games and when favored are only 1-5 ATS in their last six.
Dallas is 10-3 SU and 9-4 ATS and is coming off a 33-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles as 3.5-point favorites. The Cowboys have won five straight at 4-1 ATS, but as an underdog they’ve lost four in a row both SU and ATS.
The Bills have won their last two games against the Cowboys SU and ATS, and at home against them they’re 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in their last four.
Ravens road favorites taking on the Jaguars
And on Sunday night division leaders clash when the Baltimore Ravens visit the Jacksonville Jaguars as 3.5-point road favorites.
The Ravens are 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS after getting past the Los Angeles Rams 37-31 in overtime as 7.5-point favorites last week. The Ravens are 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight games, and as road favorites they’re 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10.
Jacksonville is 8-5 SU and ATS after last week’s 31-27 loss to the Cleveland Browns as 2.5-point underdogs. As a home underdog the Jaguars have lost their last two games SU and ATS, and they’re 6-2 SU and ATS in their last eight.
Last season Jacksonville edged Baltimore 28-27 as 3-point underdogs. In this matchup the Jaguars are 6-1 ATS in the last seven games.
