NFL Week 17 Sunday Betting Odds Preview

The Philadelphia Eagles will clinch the NFC East division title if they can post a win over the New York Giants in Week 17 action.

At the Bovada Sportsbook the Eagles are a 4.5-point road favorite. Philadelphia has won three straight while going 2-1 ATS. On the road they’re a disappointing 3-5 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight games. That includes going 3-4 ATS in their last seven as a road favorite.

The Giants have won three straight ATS, but at home they’re 2-7 SU and ATS in their last nine. As a home underdog the Giants are 1-9 SU and ATS in their last 10.

In Week 14 the Eagles defeated the Giants 23-17 as a 9-point favorite. That was their sixth straight win over New York during which they were only 2-4 ATS.

If the Eagles somehow flounder on Sunday the Dallas Cowboys can sneak in and take the division with a win over the Washington Redskins as 11-point favorites.

Dallas is 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS in its last five, and when favored have lost three in a row SU. At home to divisional opponents the Cowboys have won six straight at 6-0 ATS.

Washington is 2-7 SU and 5-4 ATS in its last nine. As a double-digit underdog they’re 4-1 ATS in their last five.

In Week 2 Dallas defeated Washington 31-21 as a 6-point favorite. In their last seven against the Redskins the Cowboys are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS. In the last eight matchups between the Cowboys and Redskins the OVER is 7-1.

Titans are favorites on the road at Houston

In the AFC South the Tennessee Titans need a win to hold on to a Wild Card spot when they face the Houston Texans as a 3.5-point road favorite.

Tennessee has dropped its last two games both SU and ATS. They’ve been a strong OVER play for totals bettors lately at 8-1 OVER in their last nine. As a road favorite the Titans are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four.

Houston is only 2-6 ATS in its last eight home games. As a home underdog they’re 2-5 SU and ATS in their last seven.

In Week 15 the Texans edged the Titans 24-21 as a 3-point road underdog. In their last 11 games versus Tennessee Houston is 8-3 SU and ATS. At home to the Titans the Texans have won seven straight at 6-1 ATS.
