NFL Week 3 Betting Preview and Trends
Week 3 in the NFL kicks off Thursday night with the Cleveland Browns hosting the New York Jets.

Washington was a 6-point favorite in a SU loss to the Indianapolis Colts last week, dropping the Redskins to 3-4 SU and ATS in their last seven. In this matchup, Green Bay is 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10.
Cardinals are 5-1 UNDER in last six games
The Bears are 6.5-point road favorites vs the Arizona Cardinals. Chicago has surprisingly won four straight ATS, but the Bears are 2-4 ATS in their last six as a road favorite. The Cardinals have been a profitable UNDER pick lately at 5-1 UNDER in their last six, and as a home underdog they’re 3-3-1 ATS in their last seven.
The biggest spread on the board this week has the Minnesota Vikings listed as a 17-point home favorite vs the Buffalo Bills. Minnesota failed to cover as a 1.5-point favorite in a tie with Green Bay last week, dropping the Vikes to 1-4 ATS in their last five. Buffalo has lost three straight at 1-2 ATS and when listed as a double-digit underdog the Bills have lost 17 straight while going 7-10 ATS.
The AFC North-leading Cincinnati Bengals visit the Carolina Panthers this week as a 3-point underdog. The Bengals have won four straight SU and ATS and they’re 6-1 ATS in their last seven as the underdog. Carolina has been money at home in its last six at 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS, and in this matchup the favored team is 4-0-1 SU in the last five.
On Monday night the winless Pittsburgh Steelers visit the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a 3-point road favorite. Pittsburgh has dropped four straight ATS and is 1-8 ATS in the last nine. The Bucs have won five in a row ATS and as a home underdog they’re a solid 5-1 ATS in their last six.
