Super Bowl 57 Props Betting Part 2

Last week we looked at some of the Super Bowl props that are based on what happens on the field. This week our look at Super Bowl props continues with some fun props that have nothing to do with what happens during the game.

Let’s start with the easiest prop bet out there, the coin toss. It’s incredibly simple, just choose heads or tails. You have a 50/50 shot at being right. Both sides of the coin pay -105 odds at Bovada Sportsbook. You can also bet on which team will win the coin toss – the Kansas City Chiefs or Philadelphia Eagles – and if the team that wins the coin toss will also win the game. All the odds for those props are also -105.

How long will it take Chris Stapleton to sing Star-Spangled Banner?

Before the coin toss is the national anthem. This year, country singer Chris Stapleton gets the honor of singing the Star-Spangled Banner. The question is how long will it take him to sing it. At Bovada, the total was set at two minutes five seconds with the OVER favored at -180. Last year, Mickey Guyton took one minute 50 seconds to sing the song, which was OVER the posted total of one minute 46 seconds.

This year’s halftime show features Rihanna and the oddsmakers at Bovada have delivered a few halftime show props. Some of these include the color of Rihanna’s hair (brown/black is a -135 favorite) and the color of Rihanna’s first outfit (black is a -110 favorite).

The most popular halftime show bet tends to be what the first song performed will be. This year Bovada has a long list of songs to choose from Rihanna’s catalog. The favorites are Don’t Stop the Music at +225, Diamonds at +275 and Stay at +350. You can also bet on the number of songs in Rihanna’s set. The total was set at 9.5 and the UNDER is favored at -130.

Blue the favored color again for winning coach’s Gatorade shower

One long-standing Super Bowl tradition is the winning head coach getting the Gatorade shower at the end of the game. This has led to another popular prop bet, picking the color of the Gatorade that is splashed on the coach. The favorite this year is blue at +135, followed by lime/green/yellow at +210 and orange at +300. The long shots are purple at +800, red at +850 and clear/water at +1000.

Last year Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay was doused in blue Gatorade. That was the third time in the last four years blue was the Gatorade color.
