TNF Betting Preview: Browns at Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens appear to have an easy win in hand in Week 10 as they face the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.

The Ravens are 10-point home favorites at the Bovada sportsbook against the winless Browns. Last week Baltimore snapped a four-game losing streak straight up and against the spread with a 21-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers as a 3-point underdog.

Joe Flacco passed for 241 yards with a touchdown and an interception in that win. Mike Wallace hauled in four passes for 124 yards which included a 95-yard touchdown.

The Browns dropped to 0-9 SU and 2-7 ATS on the season last week following a 35-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys as a 7-point underdog. Cody Kessler passed for 203 yards and a touchdown, while Terrelle Pryor Jr. had five catches for 47 yards and a TD. The Cleveland running game was non-existent in the loss and was limited to 45 yards.

The Ravens and Browns previously met up in Cleveland in Week 2 and Baltimore posted a 25-20 win as 4.5-point road favorites. Flacco passed for 302 yards with a pair of touchdowns and a pair of interceptions. Wallace had both TD catches in the win.

Josh McCown started at QB for the Browns and passed for 260 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Isaiah Crowell had a strong game on the ground in the loss with 133 rushing yards and a TD on 18 carries. Rookie Corey Coleman caught five passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

Baltimore’s results at home leave much to be desired as they are 3-4 SU and ATS in their last seven. In their last 15 home games Baltimore is an awful 3-11-1 ATS. Cleveland isn’t much better on the road. The Browns have lost 10 straight on the road with a 3-7 ATS record.

In their last five against Cleveland the Ravens are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS, and in their last 17 they are 15-2 SU and 11-6 ATS. At home the Ravens are 11-2 SU and 6-7 ATS in their last 13 against the Browns.

Cleveland may be worth a shot as an ATS pick in this one. In their last six road games versus the Ravens the Browns are 5-1 ATS. Cleveland is also 5-1 ATS in their last six Thursday night games and Baltimore is 0-5-1 ATS in their last six home games against teams with losing records.
