UFC 249 Betting Preview: Rest of Card

Yesterday we looked at the odds for the main event title bouts at this weekend’s UFC 249. Today we’ll continue our look at UFC 249 with the odds for the rest of the main card.

Getting things started is a heavyweight bout between Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. At the Bovada Sportsbook Ngannou is a -280 favorite and Rozenstruik is a +220 underdog.

Ngannou has won his last three fights to improve his record to 14-3 with 10 wins by knockout. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 3 in June where he defeated Junior dos Santos by first-round TKO as a -250 favorite.

Rozenstruik is undefeated in his MMA career at 10-0 with nine of those wins coming by KO. In his last fight at UFC on ESPN 7 in December he upset Alistair Overeem by fifth-round KO as a +195 underdog.

Also on the main card this weekend is a featherweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Calvin Kattar. Kattar is a -260 favorite and Stephens is a +200 underdog.

Kattar is 20-4 with nine wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 163 in November where he lost to Zabit Magomedsharipov by unanimous decision as a +235 underdog.

Stephens is winless in his last four fights, and overall he is 28-17 with one no-contest, with 19 wins by KO. His last fight was at UFC on ESPN 6 in October where he lost to Yair Rodriguez by unanimous decision as a -105 underdog.

Hardy favored in bout against De Castro

Rounding out the main card this weekend is a heavyweight bout between Greg Hardy and Yorgan De Castro. Hardy is a -200 favorite and De Castro is a +160 underdog.

Hardy is 5-2 with one no-contest with all five wins coming by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 163 in November where he lost to Alexander Volkov by unanimous decision as a +135 underdog.

De Castro is undefeated at 6-0 with five wins by KO. He last fought at UFC 243 in October where he defeated Justin Tafa by first-round KO as a -125 favorite.

Outside the main card, the lone rematch at UFC 249 is a welterweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis. At the Bovada Sportsbook Pettis is a -145 favorite and Cerrone is a +115 underdog.

Pettis is 1-3 in his last four fights and 22-10 overall, with 11 wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at UFC 246 in January where he lost to Carlos Diego Ferreira by second-round submission as a +125 underdog.

Cerrone has lost his last three fights to drop to 34-14 and one no-contest with 10 wins by KO and 17 by submission. His last fight was also at UFC 246 where he lost to Conor McGregor with a first-round TKO at +180.

At UFC on Fox 6 in January 2013 Pettis defeated Cerrone via first-round KO as a -170 favorite.
