The UFC lightweight title will be on the line this weekend as the UFC heads to Abu Dhabi for UFC 294: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski 2.

The main event this weekend is the UFC lightweight title bout featuring champion Islam Makhachev and challenger Alexander Volkanovski. Chimaev the betting favorite facing Usman

Also on the main card this weekend is a middleweight bout between Kamaru Usman and Khamzat Chimaev. Chimaev is a -325 favorite and Usman is a +250 underdog.

Chimaev is undefeated in his MMA career at 12-0 with six wins by KO and five by submission. He last fought at UFC 279 in September 2022 when he defeated Kevin Holland by first-round submission as a -580 favorite.

Usman has lost his last two fights to drop his record to 20-3 with nine wins by KO and one by submission. He last fought at UFC 286 in March when he lost to Leon Edwards by majority decision as a -280 favorite.

Walker an underdog in bout with Ankalaev

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a light heavyweight bout featuring Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker. Ankalaev is a -375 favorite and Walker is a +290 underdog.

Ankalaev is undefeated in his last 10 fights and owns an overall record of 18-1-1 with 10 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC 282 in December when he fought to a draw versus Jan Blachowicz as a -375 favorite.
