UFC Betting: Cannonier vs Strickland Odds

A pair of middleweight contenders coming off losses meet up in the Octagon this weekend at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Strickland.

The main event this weekend is the middleweight bout featuring Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland. At Bovada Sportsbook, the oddsmakers haven’t chosen a favorite with both Strickland and Cannonier currently listed at -110.

Strickland has won six of his last seven fights to improve his record to 25-4 with 10 wins by knockout and four by submission. His six-fight win streak was snapped at UFC 276 in July when he was knocked out in the first round by Alex Pereira as a -135 favorite.

Cannonier is 2-2 in his last four fights and owns an overall record of 15-6 with 10 wins by KO and two by submission. He is also coming off a loss at UFC 276, falling by unanimous decision as a +355 underdog in a UFC middleweight title bout against Israel Adesanya.

Tsarukyan favored to snap Ismagulov’s win streak

Also on the main card this weekend is a lightweight bout between Arman Tsarukyan and Damur Ismagulov. At Bovada, Tsarukyan is a -210 favorite and Ismagulov a +170 underdog.

Tsarukyan is 5-1 in his last six fights and his overall record stands at 18-3 with seven wins by KO and five by submission. He lost to Mateusz Gamrot by unanimous decision as a -285 favorite in his last fight at UFC on ESPN 38 in June.

Ismagulov has won his last 19 fights and hasn’t lost a fight since 2015. His record stands at 24-1 with 12 wins by KO and one by submission. His most recent victory was a split decision over Guram Kutateladze as a -230 favorite at UFC on ESPN 37 in June.

Albazi big chalk going up against UFC newcomer

One other notable bout on the main card this weekend is a flyweight bout that features Amir Albazi going up against Alessandro Costa, who is making his UFC debut. At Bovada, Albazi is a -550 favorite and Costa a +380 underdog.

Albazi has won four straight fights and owns an overall record of 15-1 with four wins by KO and nine by submission. He submitted Francisco Figueiredo in the first round as a -560 favorite in his last fight at UFC 278 in August.

Costa has won his last seven fights, which has bumped his record up to 12-2 with three wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at a Lux Fight League event in October where he defeated Carlos Gomez by first-round KO.
