UFC Betting: Kattar vs Allen Odds Preview

A rising featherweight contender tries to take his next step toward a shot at the title this weekend at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Allen.

The main event this weekend is the featherweight bout featuring Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen. At Bovada Sportsbook, Allen is a -115 favorite and Kattar a -105 underdog.

Griffin, Means both looking to get back on track

Also on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Max Griffin and Tim Means. At Bovada, Griffin is a -185 favorite and Means a +150 underdog.

Griffin has won three of his last four fights to boost his record up to 18-9 with nine wins by KO and two by submission. However, he lost a split decision to Neil Magny as a +210 underdog last time out at UFC on ESPN 33 in March.

Means also had a three-fight winning streak snapped recently and owns an overall record of 32-13-1 and one no contest, with 19 wins by KO and five by submission. He was submitted by Kevin Holland in the second round as a +250 underdog at UFC on ESPN 37 in June in his last bout.

Cortes-Acosta the favorite in debut vs Vanderaa

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a heavyweight tilt featuring Jared Vanderaa and Waldo Cortes-Acosta. At Bovada, Cortes-Acosta is a -210 favorite.

Cortes-Acosta is making his UFC debut and is undefeated at 7-0 with four wins by KO and one by submission. He last fought at a Dana White’s Contender Series event in August, defeating Danilo Suzart by first-round TKO as a -600 favorite.

Vanderaa has lost his last four fights to drop his record to 12-9 with seven wins by KO and three by submission. He fell to Chase Sherman by third-round TKO as a -240 favorite in his most recent outing at UFC on ESPN 39 in July.
