Moreno now the favorite in trilogy bout with Figueiredo

The other title fight on the main card this weekend is the third bout in a flyweight trilogy featuring UFC champion Brandon Moreno and challenger Deiveson Figueiredo. At Bovada, Moreno is a -175 favorite and Figueiredo a +145 underdog.

Moreno is 4-0-1 in his last five fights. His overall record stands at 19-5-2 with three wins by KO and 11 by submission. He faced Figueiredo in his last fight at UFC 263 in June. In that fight, Moreno defeated Figueiredo by third-round submission as a +150 underdog to claim the flyweight title.

Figueiredo’s loss to Moreno at UFC 263 was his first since 2019 and dropped his record to 20-2-1 with nine wins by KO and eight by submission. In the fight against Moreno at UFC 263, Figueiredo was a -235 favorite.

The first fight between Moreno and Figueiredo took place at UFC 256 in December 2020. That fight ended in a majority draw and Figueiredo retained the flyweight title. Figueiredo was a -335 favorite and Moreno a +250 underdog.

Pereira seeks fourth straight win vs UFC newcomer

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout featuring Michel Pereira and Andre Fialho. At Bovada, Pereira is a -285 favorite and Fialho a +220 underdog.

Pereira has won his last three fights and boasts an overall record of 26-11 and two no contests, with 10 wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at UFC 264 in July, defeating Niko Price by unanimous decision as a -235 favorite.

Fialho will be making his UFC debut with a record of 14-3 and one no contest, with 11 wins by KO. He last fought at a UAE Warriors event in October and defeated Stefan Sekulic by first-round TKO as a -200 favorite.
