A pair of UFC titles will be up for grabs this weekend when the UFC heads to Abu Dhabi for UFC 280: Oliveira vs Makhachev.
The main event this weekend is a bout for the vacant UFC lightweight title featuring Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev. Oliveira was stripped of the title after failing to make weight for his last fight. At Bovada Sportsbook, Oliveira is a +145 underdog and Makhachev the -175 favorite.
Makhachev has won his last 10 fights to improve his record to 22-1 with four wins by knockout and 10 by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 202 in February when he defeated Bobby Green by first-round TKO as a -1200 favorite.

Also on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight title bout between UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and T.J. Dillashaw. At Bovada, Sterling is a -170 favorite and Dillashaw a +140 underdog.
Sterling has won his last seven fights to boost his record to 21-3 with two wins by KO and eight by submission. His most recent victory came by split decision over Petr Yan in April at UFC 273 as a +300 underdog.
Dillashaw is 6-1 in his last seven fights and his record stands at 17-4 with eight wins by KO and three by submission. In his last fight, he also earned a split-decision victory, topping Cory Sandhagen at UFC on ESPN 27 in July as a +160 underdog.
Yan favored to snap O’Malley’s undefeated streak
One other notable bout on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight bout featuring Petr Yan and Sean O’Malley. At Bovada, Yan is a -265 favorite and O’Malley a +210 underdog.
Yan has lost two of his last three fights to drop his record to 16-3 with seven wins by KO and one by submission. He lost to Sterling by split decision as a -480 favorite in his most recent outing at UFC 273 in April.
O’Malley is undefeated in his last four fights. His record stands at 15-1 and one no contest, with 11 wins by KO and one by submission. He last fought at UFC 276 in July when his fight against Pedro Munhoz was declared a no contest after an accidental eye poke left Munhoz unable to continue. O’Malley was a -350 favorite in the fight.
