Hooker favored over Chandler in lightweight tilt
Also on the main card this weekend is a lightweight bout between Dan Hooker and Michael Chandler. At Bovada, Hooker is a -130 favorite and Chandler an even-money underdog.
Hooker is 7-2 in his last nine bouts and 20-9 overall with 10 wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought in June at ESPN 12, where he lost to Poirier by unanimous decision as a +165 underdog.
Chandler will be making his UFC debut. In his MMA career, he’s posted a 21-5 record with nine wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at Bellator 243 in August when he defeated Benson Henderson by first-round KO as a -240 favorite.
Calderwood, Eye both coming off setbacks
Our look at UFC 257 concludes with a women’s flyweight bout between Jessica Eye and Joanne Calderwood. At Bovada, Calderwood is a slim -120 favorite and Eye a -110 underdog.
Calderwood is 3-4 in her last seven fights and overall stands at 14-5 with five wins by KO. She last fought at UFC Fight Night 173 in August, losing to Jennifer Maia by first-round submission as a -220 favorite.
Eye is 15-8 and one no contest with three wins by KO and one by submission. She last fought at UFC on ESPN 10 in June and lost to Cynthia Calvillo by unanimous decision as a +130 underdog.
