UFC Betting: Usman vs Masvidal 2 Preview
Three UFC titles will be on the line this weekend as the UFC heads to Jacksonville, Florida, for UFC 261: Usman vs Masvidal 2.
The main event is a UFC welterweight title bout between UFC champion Kamara Usman and challenger Jorge Masvidal. At Bovada Sportsbook, Usman is a -400 favorite and Masvidal a +300 underdog.
Usman has won 17 straight fights and hasn’t lost since 2013. His record stands at 18-1 with eight wins by knockout and one by submission. He last fought at UFC 258 in February when he successfully defended the title by defeating Gilbert Burns by third-round TKO as a -325 favorite.
Masvidal is 35-14 with 16 wins by KO and two by submission. His last fight was against Usman at UFC 251 in July. That night Usman topped Masvidal by unanimous decision as a -290 favorite.
Weili favored over Namajunas in strawweight title fight
The women’s strawweight title will also be on the line this weekend in a bout featuring UFC champion Zhang Weili and challenger Rose Namajunas. At Bovada, Weili is a -210 favorite and Namajunas a +170 underdog.
Weili has won her last 21 fights and owns an overall record of 21-1 with 10 wins by KO and seven by submission. She last fought at UFC 248 in March 2020, winning by split decision over Joanna Jedrzejczyk as a -275 favorite.
Namajunas is 4-1 in her last five fights and owns an overall record of 9-4 with one win by KO and five by submission. She last fought at UFC 251 in July and defeated Jessica Andrade by split decision as a -250 favorite.
Andrade sizable underdog vs flyweight champ Chevchenko
The other title fight on the main card this weekend is a women’s flyweight bout featuring UFC champion Valentina Shevchenko and challenger Jessica Andrade. At Bovada, Shevchenko is a -450 favorite and Andrade a +325 underdog.
Shevchenko is 20-3 with six wins by KO and seven wins by submission, and has won her last six fights. She last fought in November at UFC 255 where she defeated Jennifer Maia by unanimous decision as a -2500 favorite.
Andrade has lost two of her last three fights and owns an overall record of 21-8 with eight wins by KO and seven by submission. She last fought at UFC Fight Night 180 in October, besting Katlyn Chookagian by first-round TKO as a -195 favorite.
