UFC Fight Night 169 Betting Odds Preview
The UFC heads to Norfolk, Virginia, this weekend for UFC Fight Night 169: Benavidez vs Figueiredo.
The main event is a flyweight fight between Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo for the vacant UFC flyweight title. The title became vacant when Henry Cejudo relinquished it late last year. At Bovada Sportsbook, Benavidez is a -145 favorite and Figueiredo a +115 underdog.
Benavidez is 9-1 in his last 10 fights, improving his overall record to 28-5 with eight wins by knockout and nine by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 3 in June, defeating Jussier Formiga by second-round TKO as a -155 favorite.
Figueiredo is 17-1 with eight wins by KO and six by submission. His last fight was at UFC Fight Night 161 in October when he defeated Tim Elliott by first-round submission as a -205 favorite.
Spencer big favorite over Fairn in featherweight fight
Also on the main card this weekend is a women’s featherweight bout between Felicia Spencer and Zarah Fairn. At Bovada, Spencer is a hefty -800 favorite and Fairn a +500 underdog.
Spencer is coming off the first loss of her career, which dropped her record to 7-1 with one win by KO and four by submission. She last fought at UFC 240 in July, losing to Cris Cyborg by unanimous decision as a +300 underdog.
Fairn is 6-3 with four wins by KO and also lost her last bout. She fought at UFC 243 in October and lost to Megan Anderson by first-round submission as a +300 underdog.
Light heavyweights Ankalaev, Cutelaba square off
One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a light heavyweight bout between Ion Cutelaba and Magomed Ankalaev. At Bovada, Ankalaev is a -210 favorite and Cutelaba a +170 underdog.
Ankalaev has won his last three fights and overall stands at 13-1 with seven wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 163 in November, when he defeated Dalcha Lungiambula by third-round KO as a -400 favorite.
Cutelaba is 15-4 and one no contest with 12 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 160 in September, defeating Khalil Rountree Jr. by first-round TKO as a -115 underdog.
