UFC on ESPN 13 Betting Odds Preview
The UFC heads back to Fight Island on Wednesday night as UFC on ESPN 13: Kattar vs Ige will take over the Octagon on Yas Island.
Headlining Wednesday’s fight card is a featherweight bout between Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige. At Bovada Sportsbook, Kattar is a -325 favorite and Ige a +250 underdog.
Kattar is 3-2 in his last five fights and his overall record stands at 21-4 with 11 wins by knockout and two by submission. He last fought at UFC 249 in May when he defeated Jeremy Stephens by second-round TKO as a -250 favorite.
Ige has won six straight fights to improve his record to 14-2 with three wins by KO and five by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 8 in May, defeating Edson Barboza by split decision as a +100 underdog.
Alhassan favored in return from long layoff
Also on the main card Wednesday is a welterweight bout between Abdul Razak Alhassan and Mounir Lazzez. At Bovada, Alhassan is a -340 favorite and Lazzez a +260 underdog.
Alhassan has won his last three fights and owns a 10-1 record with all 10 wins coming by KO. It’s been a while since his last fight. Due to legal issues, he last fought at UFC 228 in September 2018. At that event, he defeated Niko Price by first-round KO as a -125 favorite.
Lazzez will be making his UFC debut on Wednesday. His overall MAA record stands at 9-1 with eight wins by KO. He last fought in a Probellum MMA Dubai event in February, where he defeated Arber Murati by first-round TKO.
Gordon has lost three of last four fights
One other interesting bout Wednesday is a featherweight match between Chris Fishgold and Jared Gordon. At Bovada, Gordon is a -150 favorite and Fishgold a +120 underdog.
Gordon is 1-3 in his last four fights, which has dropped his record to 15-4 with six wins by KO and two by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 164 in November, losing to Charles Oliveira by first-round KO as a +270 underdog.
Fishgold is a submission fighter, with an 18-3-1 record and 13 wins by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 153 in June 2019 when he lost to Makwan Amirkhani by second-round submission as a -110 underdog.
