In Tuesday’s Game 6, the expected starting pitching matchup is Blake Snell for Tampa Bay and Tony Gonsolin for Los Angeles. The Dodgers are -140 favorites and the Rays are +120 underdogs.

With their backs against the wall, Snell is who the Rays would want on the mound. The former American League Cy Young Award winner started Game 2 of the series, which the Rays won 6-4. Snell didn’t factor in the decision, but he provided the Rays a solid 4.2 innings of work, allowing two runs on two hits with nine strikeouts. In Snell’s five starts this postseason, the Rays are 3-2.

Gonsolin opposed Snell in Game 2 of the series for the Dodgers. His outing was a short one, as he only lasted 1.1 innings, allowing one run which resulted in him taking the loss. The Dodgers are 2-1 in the three postseason games Gonsolin has appeared in this season.
