Las Vegas - Corbin Burnes won the National League Cy Young Award last year. One of the reasons was, he DID NOT LOSE a game from the start of July to the end of the season. So we turn the calendar to 2022, and guess what? Burnes HAS NOT LOST a game since June 19, and his numbers are JUMPING off the charts once again. In his last three starts, Corbin has allowed only 2 earned runs over 20 innings for a skinny, virtually invisible 0.90 ERA. It looks like his overwhelming power stuff has returned, with 25 Ks over the last 20 frames. And with 144 whiffs overall, he is the top dog in the N.L. Colorado's Antonio Senzatela is sitting under water with a 3-5 record, and he has been LIT up for 12 hits and 7 earned runs in his last two starts. Under normal circumstances, that wouldn't be horrible, but those number happened in ONLY SEVEN INNINGS of work. OUCH! Gimme the Brew Crew for the money!
